Adam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position and in particular his contribution to the target shooting sports that has been demonstrated over the past five and a half years.”

With the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics just over two years away, Adam is excited about the opportunities ahead of him and Shooting Australia.

“Our organisation has experienced some significant change over the past ten months, and I am looking forward to taking up the role of CEO as we continue to evolve. It is an exciting time for Shooting Australia and target shooting sports in Australia with Paris just over two years away and a home Olympic/Paralympic Games on the horizon.” Sachs continued, “I am looking forward to working closely with key stakeholders both within and around our sport to ensure the best possible performance environment(s) for athletes and coaches in line with our renewed focus on the success of our Australian Shooting Teams at pinnacle events. We have a talented and highly-dedicated athlete and staff group that is moving forward with purpose towards the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. With the Board’s full support, I am confident that we will build on our strong, proud history of international success.”

The Shooting Australia Board has approved an organisational restructure to align and consolidate Shooting Australia’s people, activities, resources, and outcomes towards the achievement of the realigned focus.
