Among a pool of accomplished applicants, these individuals have been carefully chosen for the unique strengths they bring to the table.

Welcoming Kaitlin Mason, a proven leader in the sports marketing landscape, currently holding the esteemed position of Head of Marketing Media and Communications at Baseball Australia, Team Australia, and the Australian Baseball League (ABL). Kaitlin’s unwavering dedication has propelled her career in the Australian and New Zealand sports industry, with a primary focus on digital marketing, media, and communications. Eager to embrace novel challenges, she envisions her role at Badminton Australia as an exciting opportunity to further nurture her capabilities.

Expressing her enthusiasm, Kaitlin states, “The allure of being a part of Badminton Australia, an organization associated with the dynamic and global sport of badminton, greatly resonated with me. I anticipate contributing to the growth of the game and engaging with its international appeal.”

Beyond her professional endeavors, Kaitlin enjoys leisurely moments by the beach, teaching Pilates, and cherishing time spent with loved ones.

Aditi Biswas joins the Board with a distinguished background spanning over 15 years, marked by extensive experience in relationship management, partner alliances, and product management across diverse sectors, including technology startups, investment banking, and financial services. Aditi currently serves as the Head of Service and Support AU at the FNZ Group, leading the delivery of responsive and effective production support and service delivery to Australian clients.

With a multifaceted journey as a former international badminton player, multiple national title holder, and a Badminton World Federation accredited High Performance Coach, Aditi’s commitment to badminton’s growth and development runs deep. She reveals, “My comprehensive experience in the corporate world, coupled with my rich sporting background, motivates me to contribute to Badminton Australia’s governance. My primary areas of interest involve nurturing high-performance pathways and amplifying the sport’s popularity.”

Paul Reining, a respected director and corporate advisor, assumes a crucial role on the Board, elected to a vacant position until the AGM. With an extensive executive career spanning over 25 years, Paul’s leadership journey encompasses significant CEO and CFO roles in successful organizations like Catch Group, 2XU, JB Hi-Fi Limited, and Kraft Heinz Company. Known for building high-performance teams that achieve remarkable results, Paul’s passion extends to fostering the growth and success of badminton in Australia.

Driven by his personal connection to the sport, Paul shares, “Rediscovering my passion for badminton, a sport that brought me joy during my junior years, has kindled my desire to contribute back to the community. I am committed to supporting Badminton Australia and its participants while providing leadership and mentorship.”

Badminton Australia President Andrew Greenway welcomes Kaitlin, Aditi, and Paul to the Board, lauding their diverse expertise and predicting their impactful contributions to propel badminton to new heights.
