Confederation of Australian Sport (CAS) is excited to announce the appointment of a number of new Board appointments that will help lead the strategic direction of the organisation in 2023 and beyond. The appointments were made at the recently conducted CAS 2022 Annual General Meeting.

Former Basketball Australia President Ned Coten was elected CAS President taking over from Rob Bradley who served in the role for 12 years and who continues as CEO.

Heather Garriock (CEO Taekwondo Australia) and Dinah Glykidis (CEO Boxing Australia) were elected to the Board to join directors Neil Dalrymple and Graham Fredericks.

Long serving Director Lindsay Cane has stepped off the Board after 16 years.

“CAS is excited to announce our new Board as Australian sport enters a critical phase over the coming years,” says CAS President Ned Coten.

The new board members bring a wealth of experience to the board and also with Heather and Dinah currently serving as National Sport CEOs they bring a good perspective on the current opportunities and challenges facing National Sporting Organisations. This topped with two of the new board members having represented their country as athletes in sport at the highest level ensures a great balance for CAS.
